Mads Mikkelsen (born 22 November 1965) is a Danish actor who is portraying Mayor David Prentiss in the film Chaos Walking.
Mikkelsen became known in Denmark with his role as Tonny in the two first films of Nicolas Winding Refn's Pusher trilogy. He rose to fame internationally for playing Le Chiffre in the James Bond film Casino Royale.
Mikkelsen later went on to portray Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the television series Hannibal, Kaecilius in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Doctor Strange, Galen Erso in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Cliff Unger in the Hideo Kojima game Death Stranding.
